Shipping & Returns – FAQ

When will my order ship?

 

Every item at A Dose of Melanin Co. is handmade with care, just for you! Please allow 3–7 business days for your order to be processed before it ships. If we’re experiencing a high volume of orders, we’ll always do our best to keep you updated.

How long does shipping take?

Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

Estimated delivery times:

  • U.S. Orders: 3–5 business days after processing
  • Need international shipping? Contact us directly for a custom quote and options.

 

 

What if my package is lost or stolen?

Once your package is handed off to the shipping carrier, it is no longer in our control. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages.

If your order is marked “delivered” but you can’t locate it, we recommend checking with your local post office or delivery service. We’re happy to assist you in filing a claim with the carrier, but we do not offer refunds or replacements for packages lost or stolen after shipment.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

 

 

We do not offer returns at this time. However, if your order arrives with a manufacturer defect or damage, we’re happy to offer an exchange.

To request an exchange, contact us within 3 business days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

 

 

Are custom orders refundable or exchangeable?

Custom and personalized items are final sale. Each one is made specifically for you, and we don’t offer refunds or exchanges on these pieces.
